My design journey has led me to research and reflect throughout my work: on the role and value of a fashion designer and the actualisation of unprecedented solutions. I have noticed issues that need to be addressed to take the industry in a more thoughtful, sustainable direction. 

 

My practice now focuses on the transformative value of what we wear by recontextualising fashion through interdisciplinary working practice. Furthermore, I am also investigating and hoping to integrate technological innovations and materials into the design process. Achieving that vision is contingent upon the materials and practices we work with and their ability to streamline and accelerate clothing design, development, and production. I aim to expand the possibilities of implementing such systems in garment-making processes to search for a paradigm shift in fashion. By utilising our bodies and garments as an extension, we can present the opportunities modern technologies offer to propel the sustainable movement.
